Galah Cockatoo is a lively Australian parrot recognized for its soft pink chest and face, grey wings, and playful personality. A Galah is also not a bird I would recommend for someone looking for a quiet, hands-off pet. They need room to move, opportunities to chew and forage, and regular mental stimulation. Their diet should be carefully managed because this species can be susceptible to obesity when offered an overly fatty diet.

Adult birds are generally around 35 cm long, with published weights commonly falling around 270–350 g, although individual size varies. Before purchasing, I encourage buyers to ask about the bird’s age, current diet, temperament, health history, and handling routine.
